Two-to-three different boats are used for the Fishing experience and is normally predetermined as preparations need to be taken. Special requests can be made for a particular boat. This of course, also depends on group size and the type of service required.
WAKKA-WAKKA (not to be confused with Waka Waka the Soccer World Cup theme song - Performed by Shakira and Freshly Ground) is a 6.5 meter Orion Cat with a double hull and is built in the City Of Durban KwaZulu-Natal Provincial (KZN). This boat is a fully rigged sports fisher with rods, reels, safety gear, GPS, Sonar, Sea Radio and Seaworthy certificate. The boat is skipped by Johan and boasts additional crew members (With many years of experience).

GENE GIRL IV is a 7.5 meter Bayliner Trophy 2505wa (Walk Around). It has a cabin, lounge with washbasin, fridge, flush toilet, G P S , Sonar, Sea Radio and seaworthy certificate. The boat is skippered by Johan and also boasts additional crew members (With many years of experience).

THE BEAST (not to be mistaken for Tendai Mtawarira the KZN Rugby player) is a massive 12 meter (40 foot) double hull deep sea fishing boat weighing in at a bone crushing 7 tons. Propulsion comes from two V6 Evinrude E-TEC outboard motors delivering a whopping 250 horsepower each. The Beast is equipped with the latest in electronic navigation and instruments as well as safety equipment. This boat is fully stocked with fishing equipment and is ideal for deep-sea predatory fishing. The Beast has two large cabins and also a toilet. The hull of the boat is a Buttcat and was built in the Eastern Cape. The boat was sent to Cape Town where it was mated with its cabins and wheelhouse and where all equipment was fitted and completed. The boat is skippered by Johan and also boasts additional crew members (With many years of experience).

At Kowie Deep-Sea Fishing Charters we can provide our visitors with information on the local guest houses and a hotel situated next to the Marina. More information regarding hotels and guest houses can be found on the Travel Guidepage and also from Johan personally.
Airport transfers can also be arranged to and from either East London or Port Elizabeth Airports.
Accommodation can also be provided on short notice in cases where no other accommodation is available.
Photos of your fishing trip can be taken on request if you do not have a camera available.
